About 15 years ago I lived on 39th and from working at many locations on that street there were many people that shared the local flavor. One man, I do not know his name, walked 39th with two strong, tough looking Black Labs. The man also, was older but very strong-looking, big forearms and he walked briskly behind as the two labs led the way.
Well it is years later, and I work again on 39th. I see the same man, older, more frail looking, and instead of two labs leading him down the street, he has one. She is frail also, tired and she walks behind him now, slower, her age is apparent by her white muzzle.
It breaks my heart alittle, seeing such a drastic change, actually seeing someone, I do not know, grow older. I think of how different I am, and how the same. I said hello to him the other day. I told him how I used to see him being led down 39th. He appreciated my hello and thankedme for remembering the other dog, who had passed acouple of years ago.

I will remember that HE ALONE WAS NOT RESPONSIBLE, for all the badness. Bush didn't make all of those banks and PEOPLE take and offer bad loans...BLAME THE CREDIT CARD GENERATION. Bush has made the transition for the new President easy, unlike what Clinton did for him. I blame all those who claimed that THIS was the first year they ever voted, WHERE the HELL were they to stop Bush's 2nd term??? I think they have some of the blame. Remember Obama has done NOTHING yet, his job is going to suck, on many levels. He won't "save" you, he will do what he is told, like ALL the other Presidents.

A laptop a good laptop best laptop and why.
anything except Dell.
Lane is geting a new laptop and is not sure, he was going with Alienware but then found out (thanx Doriunn flur)that Alienware is Dell, or related to or something.

drunk blogging.............
Went with a good friend tonight to Nara for sushi. My boyfriends mom bought Heather and I a gift card for getting them nice hotel suites for my last art show. (heather works at the Westin and got them awesome rooms) So we eat and drink ALOT of saki. We tried to stick to the cards value, but of course went over. Then we ask for the bill...
The waiter (who sucked really bad)left to retrieve, and returned telling us that our meal was already paid for by the gentleman over there, and pointed to a guy in a power suit.
hmmm... coool we still have our gift card for another visit.
Came home to witness some kids I didn't recognize coming down the street. I entered my home and looked out the lil peek hole to see what they were up to... one was quickly coming up my walkway...(take in consideration it was dark), so I open the door very abruptly lean right into him and loudly said "MAY I HELP YOU?" wow he looked scared then, and asked, "uhhh what time is it?" then followed it up by asking for a smoke... what the fuck... I am sure he was up to something else and my abrasive confrontation seem to snuff it.
weird...
Oh then I went out and got commissioned to paint a huge painting for a townhouse...$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
wow glad I came out of hiding.....

So a day of text messages...My boyfriend and I send silly messages to each other... well I had texted another friend (ammutbite) news I would be working and to stop by...
well later in exchanging a sweet " I would really like to be kissing you " message. Yep I sent it to Ammubite... And I only knew this because he sent a "oh that is sooo sweet LOL" message back...
wow... awkward. But hilarious...
(10years ago this conversation wouldn't have happened.)
